This is the home of a very poor family who is suffering from a zoonotic disease which has affected the family and their main source of protein, their milk cow. This disease is affecting humans and animals worldwide.
Research
There is an urgent need for research on diseases that are affecting and bringing great suffering to humans and animals. We see the devastation of these diseases on the poor and undernourished population magnified due to their condition. Many of these diseases are emerging in the rest of the developed world, which still lack effective diagnostics and treatment.
